The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, complications, and 30-day mortality of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) creation performed using 12 mm internal diameter polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-covered stents in patients with portal hypertension and variceal hemorrhage.
