Patient Perspectives and Priorities Regarding Artificial Intelligence in Radiology: Opportunities for Patient-Centered Radiology

There is tremendous interest in the radiology community to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to improve radiology workflow and improve patient care [1].  The potential for AI in radiology is broad, ranging from patient scheduling, image acquisition and processing, triage of examinations for interpretation, lesion detection, lesion characterization, and automated reporting [2].
