Early Surgical Thrombectomy Improves Hemodialysis Vascular Access Salvage
Hemodialysis vascular access (HVA) salvage after acute thrombosis raises a debate between nephrologists and vascular surgeons regarding the urgency of treatment. To assess the impact of early surgical thrombectomy on the rate of HVA salvage, we offered an early surgical protocol to eligible patients with acute HVA thrombosis.
