Oxygen release technique: Ba0.5Sr0.5(Co0.8Fe0.2)0.85Ta0.15O3-δ

Publication date: Available online 21 January 2020Source: Materials Today: ProceedingsAuthor(s): B. Voloshin, V.A. Eremin, M.P. Popov, A.P. NemudryAbstractThe work is related to the development of novel oxygen release technique to obtain continuous phase diagrams of oxides with mixed ionic-electronic conductivity. Promising perovskite-like composition Ba0.5Sr0.5(Co0.8Fe0.2)0.85Ta0.15O3-δ (BSCFT15) was chosen as a sample. As-prepared samples of BSCFT15 was studied by means of X-Ray diffraction analysis and scanning electron microscopy. Continuous equilibrium phase «3-δ – lg pO2 – T» diagram obtained by oxygen release technique is presented for the composition BSCFT15 for the first time. The diagrams allowed us to detect the new phase transition P1 (low temperature phase, Pm-3m) – P2 (high-temperature phase, Fm-3c).

Ali, Mouloud El Moudane, Jamal Taoufik, Ill-Min ChungAbstractCarbon steel is a commonly used alloy in petroleum refining equipment. Nonetheless, its weak corrosion resistance is a perpetual problem for these industries. In the present study, we manifest the usefulness of a novel 1,2,4-triazole derivative, namely 5-hexylsulfanyl-1,2,4-triazole (HST) in inhibiting the carbon steel (CS) corr...

Transmission Electron microscopy (TEM), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV–vis spectroscopy analysis exhibited monodisperse nanoparticles with spherical morphology of diameter of 21 ± 2. The lipopeptide stabilized AgNPs displayed remarkable antibacter...

Conclusions: This retrospective registry-based study provides a picture of CIED first implants in HCM patients in a Swedish tertiary university hospital. ICDs were the most commonly implanted devices, covering 59% of CIED implants. HCM patients receiving a pacemaker or an ICD had different epidemiological and clinical profiles. ConclusionsThe variability of radiocholine uptake in adrenal glands depends probably on overall body metabolism and hypophyseal function expressed by statistically significant correlation with liver and pituitary gland uptake.Predominant focal or mixed with focal areas uptake patterns on positron emission tomography in normal in computed tomography adrenal glands should be assessed with caution to avoid a diagnostic mistake.

Conclusion: OCTA can detect alterations in choriocapillaris flow. Longitudinal follow-up demonstrates a centripetal restoration of choriocapillaris flow in response to immunosuppressive therapy. OCTA may be a useful adjunct for monitoring and evaluating treatment of PIC. PMID: 32058825 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Abstract Recent large-scale community sequencing efforts allow at an unprecedented level of detail the identification of genomic regions that show signatures of natural selection. Traditional methods for identifying such regions from individuals' haplotype data, however, require excessive computing times and therefore are not applicable to current datasets. In 2019, Cunha et al. (Advances in bioinformatics and computational biology: 11th Brazilian symposium on bioinformatics, BSB 2018, Niterói, Brazil, October 30 - November 1, 2018, Proceedings, 2018. 10.1007/978-3-030-01722-4_3) suggested the maximal perfe...

Vara LakshmiAbstractThe healing proportion of strengthening cracks in buildings such as Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) Houses, RCC Pipes, Canal Lining, Pavement etc. has been increased in the ongoing bacterial concrete. In order to fix the cracks in the concrete, it needs ordinary maintenance and exceptional treatment that can be terribly expensive. This is another method adopted by the use of microbiologically actuated calcite (CaCO3) precipitation in the arrangement of concrete. In this ...
