If you apply to ERAS after attempting the early SF match the previous year, are you considered a reapplicant/do programs know about it?

As in, if you attempt to match in Urology or Ophtho but don't make it, will you be considered a reapplicant next year if you attempt to match IM through ERAS? I was considering dual applying ophtho and IM. That or do a research year in between attempts. Would it also it harder for programs to see whether you're dual applying if you attempt both the SF match and ERAS? Thanks for the advice!
