FNS: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program: Requirements for Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents

Notice of final rule from the United States Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service implementing changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as noted in theFebruary 1, 2019 proposed rule. Among other things, the rule revises the conditions under which USDA would waive the able-bodied adult without dependents (ABAWD) time limit in areas that have an unemployment rate of over 10 percent or a lack of sufficient jobs. The rule is effective April 1, 2020, except for the amendment to 7 CFR 273.24(h), which is effective October 1, 2020.
