Can A Tubal Ligation Result In Abnormal Symptoms?

Recently, Christina, a tubal reversal patient shared her story about her PTLS-post tubal ligation symptoms. After having her tubes tied, she developed many symptoms which were laughed at by several doctors. For her, the biggest problem was "brain fog". She could not remember simple things-where were the keys, not stopping for red lights, how to sign a check. As her PTLS symptoms mounted, she contacted Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center to schedule surgery with Dr. Monteith, an expert tubal reversal surgeon, to have her Filshie clips removed and her tubes put back like they were meant to be. Like many women who suffer from post tubal ligation symptoms, Christina's symptoms have improved and many have disappeared all together including her "brain fog" all within the first six weeks after surgery. Though PTLS is not widely accepted and the population who suffer from it is small, it is real to those women who have had a tubal ligation and suffer abnormal symptoms. Having their tubes untied and having their symptoms disappear or improve validates the reality of PTLS.
