Abstract
5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is a topical treatment routinely used to treat actinic keratosis and superficial basal cell carcinomas in humans. As clinicians, we often consent the known adverse effects1 on humans such as erythema, irritation, photosensitivity and prolonged inflammation.
