M279 il-12rb1 deficiency presenting as chronic cervical lymphadenopathy and salmonella bacteremia

Mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial diseases (MSMD) is an autosomal recessive primary immunodeficiency caused by defects in the IFN-g axis resulting in increased susceptibility to weakly virulent pathogens. Patients with disorder are vulnerable to infections from non-tuberculous mycobacteria, Salmonella, and other intracellular pathogens.
