Superficial radiation therapy a highly effective modality for treatment of basal and squamous cell carcinomas of the lower extremities
Background: Superficial radiation therapy (SRT) is a noninvasive modality to treat NMSC. SRT is a useful treatment option in elderly patients who often present with numerous co-morbidities making them poor surgical candidates. This is especially true for NMSC lesions on the lowers limbs.
