Epidemiological state, predictive model for mortality, and optimal management strategy for pancreatic injury: A multicentre nationwide cohort study

Although pancreatic injury is rare, it is associated with significant mortality; it only accounts for 0.21% –0.32% of all trauma patients but has an overall mortality of 3%–70%1–9.
