Commentary on a novel surgical technique: Crushed septal cartilage graft application in endonasal septoplasty

We read with great interest the titled “A novel surgical technique: Crushed septal cartilage graft application in endonasal septoplasty” by Mutlu [1]. The authors performed a novel surgical technique to replace the conventional (or endoscopic) septoplasty, they used crushed cartilage to replace in place of removed septal bone and sep tal cartilage, then the septal mucosal membranes were reciprocally sutureted. The simultaneous radiofrequency intervention was applied for the patients with the turbinate hypertrophy.
