Ah Friday, the Window to the Weekend…

Charlie has already called me about supper tonight. He was on his way to work in Dadeville.  He also exclamatorily told me his car mileage again.  I think his car is now up to 350,000 miles. “Just get me what Horsefly gets every night,” I told him to make things simple and easy.  “You sure?” Charlie asked. “It is just a three piece chicken fingers meal with double mashed potatoes.” “I would enjoy some chicken fingers,” I replied. “Get me the sweet and sour sauce and I will be happy.” My favorite meal from KFC used to be the tender roast chicken sandwich and a side order of potato wedges.  I don’t know if they still even make them.  I will have to ask Charlie tonight. Charlie also informed me that he bought an antique grandfather clock at an estate sale yesterday. “It is coming to stay with you until I can find a better place to put it,” he told me. “We will move it tonight.” Well, this got me excited as I love the chimes of a grandfather clock. We are going to put it in the corner of my den by my entertainment center or possibly by the piano. Shall There Be Snow? We have a 40% chance of snow tonight.  The best chance we’ve had all winter.  I promised myself sitting here in the computer lab that I am not going to get too excited and get my hopes up.  I always get disappointed when this happens.
