MuthuvelAbstractIn this work, the hydrothermal fabrication of NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4 nanocomposites for its photocatalytic mineralization of aqueous Reactive Yellow 86 (RY 86) solution is investigated. In addition, fuel cell application is also investigated. Using FT-IR XRD, SEM and HR-TEM NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4 is analyzed for its functional group, crystalline structure particle size and morphology. The presence of NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4 is confirmed by XRD pattern. SEM images of NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4, indicate spherical like structure with most of the particles having the size below 20 nm. The UV-DRS and fluorescence spectra are used to explore the optical properties of the NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4. The activity of NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4 is improved for removing RY 86 than the prepared TiO2 and undoped ZnFe2O4 under solar light. NrGO-TiO2/ZnFe2O4 is found to be stable and recyclable. These results give some innovative insights on photocatalysis and fuel cell.
