Obesity is a national epidemic associated with morbidity and mortality. FDA-approved endoscopic treatments for obesity are the gastric balloon systems (ReShape, Orbera, and Obalon), the gastric aspiration system (AspireAssist), and endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG; Overstitch). It is unknown how these therapies compare in real world practice.
