OMB: Request for Comment on the Consumer Inflation Measures Produced by Federal Statistical Agencies

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requests comments on the different consumer price indexes and income measures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis and how they may influence the estimation of income measures from the Census Bureau, including the Official Poverty Measure (OPM). The OPM is used by Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other programs to determine income eligibility. Comments are due 45 days after publication of this notice.
