Viewpoint: Atlanta deserves smoke-free workplaces, airport
In my job, I travel to cities around the world as my organization pursues its mission to eliminate cancer as a significant public health problem. When I compare these cities to Atlanta, there are so many points of pride. Yet when I return home to an airport that still allows smoking, or when I walk into restaurants that are filled with smoke, it is hard to fathom how a vibrant, forward-thinking city like ours can be so out-of-step with other world-class destinations.
