Call for Nominations: 2015 American Society of Retina Specialists Presidents’ Young Investigator Award Submit award nominations by January 15, 2015 The Retina Young Investigator Award, established to honor past leaders of the ASRS and to serve as a means to nurture the development of the next generation of retina leaders, encourages researchers to undertake investigative work in critical areas of retinal diseases that may one day lead to meaningful improvements in patients’ lives. The award will be given based on an outstanding paper published during the past year and other significant contributions made by the investigator, indicating future potential for contributions to the field of retina. It is open to researchers ages 45 years or younger who are members of the ASRS. A maximum of one award will be given per year, but the award may not be given every year, at the discretion of the Foundation Executive Committee.   Eligibility Criteria 45 years of age or under at the time the paper is published Member of the ASRS Must be first or senior author on the paper submitted for consideration Paper must be original and published in print or e-published in a peer-reviewed journal within the last 12 months (January 2014-December 2014) Individuals may nominate themselves or others may nominate them once the paper has been published.
