Different factors to consider:
- has the study ever been attempted before, if so what was the success versus rate of failure?
- if the study was successful, why? Can I incorporate some of those elements into my study, do more research into that
- if the study was not successful, why not? Can I improve on all these and eliminate causes for failure, again more research
- then examine the population the study is directed towards; the patients or target population. What is the general opinion of the target population towards studies being done? Example are they cooperative or dismissive...
