03:36 PM Abstract No. 57 Are preprocedural labs for extremity bone and soft tissue biopsies necessary? A prospective cohort analysis

To analyze a prospective cohort of patients undergoing routine image-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies of the extremities using revised criteria for requiring preprocedural lab tests (CBC and INR) and stopping aspirin. 1. The aim was to assess whether the revised criteria resulted in an increased bleeding complication rate. 2. To evaluate if the revised criteria would decrease the time from the biopsy being ordered to when the biopsy was performed.
