Normative curves for physically aggressive behaviors in children 6 to 24 months of age

It is known that childhood aggression is a risk factor for violence later in life. Pediatricians are called on continuously to assess a child's behavior and provide parents with anticipatory guidance that attempts to promote strategies for intervention that are positive and promote behavioral growth and to avoid strategies that may stunt behavioral growth and may be harmful.
