Association of inflammatory and hemogram parameters to gestational diabetes mellitus: Predictive value for early diagnosis during pregnancy

Introduction: Gestational diabetes mellitus is significantly associated with adverse maternal and fetal outcomes, especially increased number of cesarean deliveries, newborns large for gestational age and macrosomia. Consequently, early diagnosis plays a crucial role in the management of this which helps a pregnant woman and the physician to develop a plan to help manage any possible complications.
