Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation (SANT) of spleen mimicking a splenic abscess: case report and review of the literature

ConclusionThe patient was treated with splenectomy, which has proved to be both diagnostic and therapeutic. Although histology can lead to the diagnosis of vascular tumor, immunohistochemistry is the only way to confirm the diagnosis.
