167. Effects of Participation In An Inpatient Reproductive Health Consult Service On Pediatric Residents' Competence In Providing Reproductive Care For Adolescents And Young Adults

Unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections are significant issues among adolescents and young adults. Stanford Adolescent Medicine launched a novel inpatient reproductive health consult service to improve reproductive healthcare for teen and young adult patients admitted to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Previously, pediatric residents had inconsistent exposure to reproductive health counseling. Rotation evaluations indicated a need and desire for residents to improve these skills.
