Live birth rates and neonatal outcomes following cleavage-stage versus blastocyst-stage embryo transfer using the freeze-all strategy

ConclusionsThe observed no significant cumulative live birth rate between blastocyst transfer and cleavage transfer could not provide evidence that blastocyst transfer is the preferred strategy. The result indicated singleton births born after blastocyst transfer had a higher risk of preterm delivery compared with cleavage transfer. Further studies are needed to verify the findings.
