I’m reading a phenomenal book by Dr. Joe Dispenza called, “Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon.” There are so many pearls of wisdom in it and statements full of hope for anyone suffering from physical or mental illness. So far, this is one of my favorites: “The only thing I can assure you of is this: The unknown has never let me down.” Dispenza says we often get stuck in the same routine, ways of thinking, and feelings that keep us in the past. The way to change is to open up to the unfamiliar, putting your attention on how you want to be versus what you don’t want and accepting change even if it comes with discomfort.
