Conservative nonsurgical treatment of mandibular central giant cell granuloma in an adolescent: A case report

Although it is a benign disease process, it can be locally destructive as well. Surgery is the traditional and still the most accepted treatment for giant-cell granuloma (GCG). The purpose of this article is to report the clinical case of a 14-year-old girl with a mandibular central giant cell granuloma (CGCG), which was favorably treated with intralesional corticosteroid injections and had a 5-year follow-up period.
