Stroke Recovery Workshop: Bridging the Translational Gap in Stroke Recovery & Rehabilitation Research (Day 1)

The Stroke Recovery Workshop: Bridging the Translational Gap in Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation Research will bring together basic scientists and clinicians in the field of stroke recovery and rehabilitation with representatives from StrokeNet, NINDS and NCMRR to establish a forum identify the best path forward for developing effective therapies for Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation. The NINDS and NCMRR are proposing to bring together basic and clinical recovery scientists to work together to identify gaps and opportunities to advance stroke recovery research through bi-directional translational efforts between basic biomedical research and clinical science and knowledge and forward think of the best ways for testing and generalizing these potential therapeutic approaches across a larger number of clinical sites that are available in the NIH StrokeNet.For more information go tohttps://meetings.ninds.nih.gov/meetings/strokerehab/Air date: 11/27/2018 8:00:00 AM
