Conjunctival papillomatosis in children treated with co-adjuvant topical interferon alpha-2b.

Conjunctival papillomatosis in children treated with co-adjuvant topical interferon alpha-2b. Arch Soc Esp Oftalmol. 2018 Nov 10;: Authors: Rodríguez-Cabrera L, García-Regil P, Velasco-Levy A, Serna-Ojeda JC Abstract A series of paediatric patients is presented in whom topical interferon alpha-2b was used as a co-adjuvant treatment for conjunctival papilloma. This condition is frequently associated with human papillomavirus infection. There is little information on the pediatric population with the use of interferon for the treatment of these lesions. In this case series, adjuvant treatment with topical interferon alpha-2b in paediatric patients showed no recurrence and good tolerance. PMID: 30424910 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
