Performance-based visual field testing for drivers with glaucoma: A pilot study.

CONCLUSIONS: We established the construct validity and test-retest reliability of the performance-based VF test. Future studies should include a larger sample with more severe driving difficulties to demonstrate the concurrent validity between performance-based VF testing and on-road driving performance in glaucoma. ConclusionSurgical outcomes of adult FP7 and pediatric FP8 AGV in adult secondary glaucoma seem to achieve similar IOP control and success rates. This suggests that smaller-sized FP8 can be used in adult glaucoma with good surgical outcomes albeit with careful case selection in eyes with extensive preoperative scarring to avoid conjunctival thinning-related complications postoperatively.

AbstractIntroductionA non-interventional, multicenter, European, prospective evaluation of the effectiveness, tolerability, and safety of a topical preservative-free tafluprost (0.0015%) and timolol (0.5%) fixed-dose combination (PF tafluprost/timolol FC) in adults with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) and ocular hypertension (OHT) demonstrating insufficient response to topical beta-receptor blockers or prostaglandin analogue (PGA) monotherapy.MethodsMean intraocular pressure (IOP) change from baseline was measured at study visits following a switch to PF tafluprost/timolol FC. Primary endpoint was absolute mean IOP change at mon...
