A Novel Risk Prediction Model for Complications and Readmissions Following Bariatric Surgery Based on the MBSAQIP database
The objective of this study is to evaluate the outcome and safety of sleeve (SG) and gastric bypass (GB) based on patient characteristics and develop a risk prediction model for the occurrence of Serious Adverse Events (SAE) and readmission within the first 30-days following surgery using for the first time the MBSAQIP data registry.
