Response to Ja Cuoco

We acknowledge Dr Cuoco's na ïve “enthusiasm” for our work and for the many letters that he crafts on the heels of our publications on head transplants or spinal cord reconstruction, despite his lack of insight into all the crucial details. We take this opportunity to clarify the points he raises in the hopes that the medi cal community—after 5 years of discussion—may finally come around.
