4.1 Transition to Adulthood, Telepsychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ’s Therapeutic Identity: Treatment of Anxiety, Dmdd, and Weight Gain on Antipsychotics

The goals of this session are as follows: 1) to review the  recent literature on the transition to adulthood for special populations of youth; 2) to review the evolving identity of the early career psychiatrist; 3) to review treatment updates regarding anxiety disorders, DMDD, and weight gain in those youth on antipsychotic drugs; and finally, 4) to review the potential of telepsychiatry to address unmet treatment needs.
