Extracorporeal shock wave therapy for isokinetic muscle strength around the knee joint in athletes with patellar tendinopathy.

CONCLUSIONS: Extracorporeal shock wave therapy has a positive effect on patellar tendinopathy in athletes, with no gender differences in therapeutic effect.
