Ovarian tumors secreting androgens: an infrequent cause of hyperandrogenism.

CONCLUSIONS: Sex cord stromal tumors of the ovary are rare, and can be characterized by virilization for most patients. The majority of the tumors are benign, with few cases having low-grade malignancy.
