Cerclage as Alternative Treatment for Buccal Diseases in Patients with Systemic Health Problems

The objective of this work was to report a case where cerclage was indicated owing to systemic conditions against surgical removal. The patient was a 63-year-old black man with a clinically extensive node in the buccal mucosa, pediculated, painless, measuring 50  mm, pinkish, smooth and bright surfaced, suggestive of fibrous hyperplasia or fibroma.
