Society of Gynecologic Surgeons Michael P. Aronson Scholarship/Travel Award Apply by October 10, 2014 The Society of Gynecologic Surgeons is pleased to provide an opportunity for one faculty member in good standing to participate in the SGS hands on cadaveric postgraduate course in Celebration, FL on December 3-5, 2014. The candidate will receive coach airfare, hotel and registration for the course including the vaginal hysterectomy hands on lab being offered on the afternoon of December 4. The award recipient must be available to attend the entire course. The goals for the postgraduate course are: Provide hands-on training for vaginal hysterectomy, benign gynecology surgical techniques Increase uptake of vaginal hysterectomy as the primary approach to hysterectomy The target audience for this scholarship should be a faculty member in good standing. The candidate needs to be committed to learn/apply and mentor others in his/her institution.
