Jun 27, Robert Baker: Today in the History of Psychology (27th June 1921)

Robert Baker was born. A pioneer within the field of Anomalistic Psychology, Baker published an extensive body of work which sought to provide psychological explanations for a range of seemingly paranormal phenomena e.g. ghost sightings and alien abductions. In 1999 an eminent group of scholars assembled by The Committee for Skeptical Inquiry named Baker among the most outstanding skeptics of the 20th Century.
