Kate Spade Foundation donates $1M to suicide prevention
The Kate Spade Foundation will donate $1 million to organizations that promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention, the company announced Wednesday.
The foundation said its first donation of $250,000 will be made to the Crisis Text Line, an intervention service that provides 24-hour mental health support via text, and would match public donations up to $100,000 between June 20 and June 29, the Los Angeles Times reports.
