Use of Virtual Surgical Planning as an Adjunct for Enucleation of Multiple Recurrent Odontogenic Keratocysts: Case Report

This case report describes an interesting use of virtual surgical planning to fabricate tooth borne cutting guides to assist in localization and enucleation of multiple recurrent odontogenic keratocysts within close proximity to the inferior alveolar nerve. The 3D models generated and cutting guides increased the accuracy and precision of the procedure while decreasing surgical time and potential patient morbidity.
