I am currently writing my exam on liver biopsy. One article has presented their results with sensitivity and specificity. The article's objective is to find risk factors that can predict bleeding after biopsy. One example from the article: "For instance, an INR of greater than 1.5 had a sensitivity and specificity of 17% and 95%, respectively, for predicting a bleed." Does anyone know what exactly that means? I tried reading about it, but still don't understand...
