Systematic Review Qualitative Methods Series reflect the increasing maturity in qualitative methods

JCE is publishing an increasing number of papers on qualitative research. This reflects the growing maturity of qualitative methods as well as the need for increased emphasis on mixed methods approaches to tackle the complex problems in health and healthcare that is being recognised in many graduate programs. In this issue, we are pleased to showcase this series of 6 papers on systematic review qualitative methods that will form the basis for the Qualitative Methods chapter in the forthcoming Cochrane Handbook.
