Department of Health (DH) -  The Care Act 2014 will give CQC the power to assess health and social care providers’ performance and give each a rating. The government believes that these ratings should be on display in all locations that provide care to ensure that providers are transparent about their performance. The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on the proposal to make it a legal requirement for providers to display the performance rating given to them by the CQC.The consultation document includes draft regulations to show how the changes would work in practice. The consultation closes 13 October 2014. Consultation document Online response form DH consultations
