USDA Prioritizes Investments to Address Opioid Crisis in Rural America
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that it is giving funding priority in two key grant programs to programs that address opioid misuse in rural communities. The Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program will give priority to applications focused on the epidemic in rural areas. The Community Facilities Grant Program is reserving $5 for projects with this focus.
