Combined effects of ovariectomy and streptozotocin-induced diabetes in the articular cartilage of rats.

CONCLUSION: Our results indicate that the combination of ovariectomy and streptozotocin-induced diabetes produces more deleterious effects in articular cartilage of rats than either condition alone.
