Protocol to Translate a Shoulder Pain Intervention Into Clinical Practice Using the Internet
Chronic shoulder pain is a common after spinal cord impairment (SCI) and limits community mobility. This leads to loss of independence and reduced quality of life. Evidence suggests that exercises can help reduce shoulder pain, however, cost, expertise and transport barriers can limit access to treatment services. Objective: to translate evidence-based exercise principles in to an acceptable, usable and persuasive web-based tool to support self-management of shoulder pain in people living with SCI.
