New Wearable Safety Light Helping Save Lives of Firemen and First Responders

Milwaukee, Wisc. - In a 13 year study conducted by the National Fire Protection Association, 74 percent of all firemen and first responders struck by a vehicle were hit by non-department vehicles. Several cases involved lack of visibility. Guardian Angel have developed latest wearable safety LED advancement to keep officers and first responders safer on duty: the ‘Elite Series’ personal safety lights. When dealing with inherently high-stakes industries, such as law enforcement, EMS, military and rescue, they worked with professionals in the field to better understand the risks and learned that visibility can often be the difference between safety and disaster. According to Chief Designer Ron Dir, the new ‘Elite Series’ device will “keep the first responder we proudly serve safer.” The original line of Guardian Angel devices, the ‘100 Series’, has already been adopted by thousands of firemen, EMS, and security guards across the world. The ‘Elite Series’ is a direct response to consumer demand for a more compact device with the same capabilities as the ‘100 Series.’ It’s our mission to reduce visibility-related accidents and fatalities. We wholeheartedly believe that this is an issue that needs to addressed to repay the debt owed to this country’s first responders and law enforcement for all they do for the rest of us.
