74 Predicting success of atrial fibrillation ablation by point by point and single shot ablation techniques

Introduction: Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) to achieve pulmonary vein isolation can be performed by either point by point (PBP) radiofrequency ablation or by ‘single shot’ (SS) techniques including using circular Pulmonary Vein Ablation Catheter (PVAC) and cryoballoon (CB). Success rates for ablation can vary significantly according to the clinical characteristics of the patient (CAAP-AF score, Winkle et al. Heart Rhythm 2016).
