Early and late results of the treatment of native and prosthetic abdominal aortic infections with cryopreserved arterial allografts

Aortic infections have a high perioperative rate of morbi-mortality. The treatment consists in the eradication of the infected site in association with a hemodynamically and microbiologically perennial revascularization with a substitute having the best resistance possible to infection. For this purpose we evaluated arterial allografts to treat infections of the native and prosthetic abdominal aorta.
