Burundi: WFP Resumes Food Assistance to HIV Positive People With Acute Malnutrition

[Iwacu] The World Food Program (WFP) has resumed its project to provide food assistance to people living with HIV / AIDS since July. In a statement issued on 2 August, WFP declared that the assistance is for HIV affected patients who started antiretroviral therapy, for children and women under the prevention of mother-to-child transmission protocol (PMTCT). It also said that the project concerns orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC).
